Cooking with Einstein

Quick, name two things you don’t have enough of. No, not that. Not that either. Think kitchens…right—space and time, and if you’re like me, you’d give anything for more of either. Sharp’s new Microwave Drawer actually promises both, letting you reclaim precious countertop while enjoying a three-second pop tart. Unlike most conventional ‘waves, Sharps 1000-watt, 30-inch wide drawer version is installed at hip level, opens with a touch, and features an LCD touch-screen that spews step-by-step instructions and cooking tips. It has a one cubic foot capacity, which roughly equates to a 9×13-inch pan or 108 pop tarts (unfrosted). Price is set around $850. Available now.
