I priced it for my house for the basement. You need 2 thermostats, zone board, bypass damper, and an electric motor controlled damper for each duct in the house and a few other odds and ends and duct work. Mine priced out at $600 for zone control items at wholesale price from the supply house plus duct work and labor. You have to size everything to see if your ducts and returns are set up to zone properly and cut each duct, etc which is a lot of work and high priced labor when contracted out. Good luck.
