Your numbers sure do state the situation

Harold, these numbers do tell the situation. I am not questioning your facts, matter of fact they are very interesting. I just have always heard and been told that a log home is better insulated than a normal home.

The buzz word is normal I guess.

So, if an 8 inch log is equal to three inches of fiberglass, which would be about an R factor of 9, then this would be better than the normal home that is made of 2x4 studs and insullated. Correct?

Thanks for your information and to meet you in type. I have been reading your posts and you have much hard facts to digest. Pleasure to have you on board.

Good Day to You.
