I don't think the Lysol will work. I see it as a 'mask' more than a cure. After a while, the mask wears off and you'll probably smell the smell.
You could, as others have said, have an air gap leak or not have a stack. But, if you're putting your nose to the floor itself and smelling the smell, I think your problem is in the subfloor. It's cheap enough to reset the toilet w/a new seal. I've heard of 2 seals being used a 1 time but it's not that easy to do since they'll 'slip' on each other. You may need a Flange Extension Ring to bring the Drain Vent 'up to the level of the floor'. (If your flange isn't level w/the floor, do this. A Plumbing Supply House will have them. DO measure the distance 'across' the drain vent from hole-to-hole so you get the right size.)
