wooden door

Posted by Tim Tolley on July 5th, 2000 01:35 PM

I installed an exterior wooden door in a former garage doorway
and the top corner of the door is not flushed with the frame
( it was a prehung door) and I had to cut four inches off the door and
frame to fit the doorway. The top left corner is sticking inwards about
one inch but it does closes all the way when you push on it into the frame.
The door otherwise fits fine and it is a lefthand inward opening door.I
have tried shimming the bottom hinge but no luck there. any ideas?
