Wood storage building foundation

Posted by Ben on July 14th, 1998 10:53 AM

We built a 12 x 16 wood storage building. We used T111 siding. The foundation was built with wood due to a severe slope in the ground. The foundation is made up of all treated wood. The frame for the foundation is 4x4s cemented into the ground then 2x6s bolted at 24" apart. The actual floor is two layers of 1/2" cdx plywood. The two layers came after one layer did not feel solid. The foundation was set about 4 weeks before the acutal building was put up. I live in Florida. Do you think this foundation will last?
