I have oak floors throughout the home I just bought. I pulled up the carpet and hired a company to sand them and put down polyurethane. After a couple coats of polyurethane, the floors look awful. I wanted semi-gloss. The floors are shinier in some spots and duller in others. There are also small dried bubbles of polyurethane everywhere. What happened? I told the company I would get back to them about about finding a solution to the problem. I am not sure if I should trust them to redo my floors. Your advice?
