We have radient heat in oour new house and we love it. But the living room (16 by 30) carpeting has been installed over the sub floor. Adjacent rooms are tiled. We want to install a wood floor in that room. our ideal is a cherry, prefinished solid wood floor. We get various opinions on the feasability of this in the long run. Many have recommended engineered floor. Any reactions, experience or opinions on this.
