The best primer I have ever used is from Branch House Signiture Products in Richmond,VA 804 354 1800. I have used the oil base and the agua borne, depending on what your wood surface is like. A friend of mine had a rotten window seals and needed to replace it but did not want to spend the money. we used the oil base primer to restore the wood and filled in the holes and then put the cermic water base primer and coated that with cermic paint. Excellent job and saved my friend lots of money.rmc
