see if you have a under the sink hot/cold cut offs. Then see if the pipes going to the faucet from the supply lines are sweated on or have screwed on adapters. Then I would determine if the lines are sweated on to the upper reaches of the faucet.

If all is bolted or screwed on, using compression fittings, and if there is water cut offs, then I would procede. If any pipe has to be sweated on or off, I would call a plumber. Then, I would re install the flex hoses from the supply line to the faucet and have two cutt off installed at the same time.

Very easy project if nothing sweated on.
