The wiring to seperate the fan and lite controls are up under the bell housing droping down from the ceiling.The wires from the fan/lite asm. should have a Black(fan),Blue(lite),White,and Green.In the ceiling you should have a White,Green,Black,Red, Which ever ( Black or Red)is controled by the switch should be connected to the Blue wire or whatever wire controls the Lights.You should use a voltage tester to test what hot wire is controled by the wall switch,and shut off trhe power when connecting the wires together.always use wire nuts for your connections. You may be better off and put in a Remote Kit. I have them in all my fans (4)and wouldn't have it any other way.Good luck and work Safe....Joe
