BC, Thanks for the information. I have printed it out so that my husband and Dad can read it, I knew that I would never get all that info straight. We had heavy rains on Friday and lots of people got water in the basement but we kept ours out by bailing the window wells during the day and until about 7:30 that night. My husband said yesterday that he thought we should bust up the concrete as well and put in gravel. I just didn't want to mess anything up like you say about possible cracking of the foundation. That scares me. On Monday, we are supposed to try to clean the pipe in the bottom of the well, and by the way, there are windows where the wells are, I didn't mean to sound like there were not. After that I guess we will see what happens. I will be sure and let you know, thanks for the help.
