Window condensation

I live in the Mid-Atlantic region. I often experience condensation on the inside of my storm windows during the winter, especially the ones facing north. The storm window frames develop mold as the season warms up. Not all of the windows have this problem. I am not sure if the problem is with the windows themselves or the storm windows. I have a colonial home built in the late 70's with gas furnace supplying hot air through the HVAC vents. I use an Aprilaire Humidifier during the winter and keep the R.H. at about 35% with the temp 68* during the day and 62* at night through the use of a programable thermostat. Please review and advise.
