Whole House Fans

In the early 1980's I built a house in Georgia, and installed a Craftsman Whole house fan. It was a metal box that fit between the ceiling joists and the fan blew 90 degrees to the ceiling into the attic. It had a nice set of louvers that opened when the fan was running. It also was thermostatically controlled so that the fan speed was dependent on the temperature of the air going through the fan, and it would shut off when the air temperature reached the desired setting. I have moved to a new house, and would like to install one here, but have not been able to find such an animal. Can anyone give me some help. I don't really care if it mounts vertically or horizontally, but I would like the theromstatic control.
Thanks for your help
