BEG is right, CML, but there is one other source of water. Burning produces water vapor that can condense in cold areas, just like your car's exhaust pipe on a cold morning. Since this appears to be in the coldest part of the chimney, above the insulation, the water could be coming from insulation. Have a pro check your chimney for internal damage and go from there.
