White oil pint on my kitchen walls that turned brown

Posted by Ktbear on February 26th, 2000 08:08 AM

I recently painted my kitchen with oil paint that we bought 2 yrs ago and never got around to using. I painted in October. The color was super white. By January the color was tan and is now on it's was to beige. I had bought 2 gallons and used one right away.I removed the wallpaper this year and painted and I also repainted the door frame that was done 2 years ago. I thought the color change might be because of the glue but the door frame changed as well. The paint was new and never opened, it was never frozen or over heated. Does anyone have any idea why this happened? And why it took 3 mnths to do so? Thanks
