Hi, we have an American Radiator no. 1. It's never been turned off since we moved to this house in 1999, so I have no clue where anything is. A couple of nites ago, I heard a clinking sound in the basement, where the boiler is located and was unsure about what to do, so I just turned the therostat down. Anyway, it got cold the next day and I decided to up the heat. I heard the sound again and got my husband. He was just as clueless as I was, so he pushed the button to turn it off. Well, now it's really cold in the house and we don't know how to turn it back on. My question is, where is the pilot valve? Also, is that little butterfly looking thing the main valve?
