Steve, what you said is, "... during the drying time the chemical reaction that occurs causes water vapor and water to develope." I think what you meant to say is that simple evaporation during the drying process results in an increase of relative humidity leading to possible condensation on windows and the sensation of increased room temperature due to higher humidity. There is no actual chemical reaction that produces H2O, either in the form of vapor or liquid. In the strictest sense, evaporation of water is not a chemical reaction.
