There was an article in the morning paper in the town where I live. The article was about how insurers are wary of synthetic stucco like dryvit. Some insurers are refusing coverage at least excluding mold coverage, and others may follow. The problem is that when moisture gets behind it, toxic mold develops. The moisture gets in as a result of improperly installed windows, etc.
The article also cited several pros that regard the material as an excellent choice.
