Hi, I'm constructing an office that is about 160 sq ft. It's going to be about 8 ft high. The room I am building the office in is about 16 ft high. So what I want to do is have a flat roof for storage space on top of the office that I am building. But I am a little concerned about what materials I should use on top of the office. In fact I am not completely sure what to use. I am guessing it should be some sort of plywood about 3/4 of an inch thick? Also I was planning on using 2x6 studs for the joists which would run 10 ft long and have them 16 inches apart. Does that sound good to you? Well, I know that there is also different kinds of plywood you can get, what would you suggest. Thanks.
I wouldn't be storing anything to heavy on top of the office, mostly boxes of paper supplies and merchandise. I would appreciate anyone's opinion since this is my first time building something like this.
