What about 3 1/2 inch?

Georgia Pacific makes a product called Plybead. It is plywood milled to look like beaded tongue & groove strips. I've used it for wainscoating and it looks great. If you sand it a little and fill the nailholes or cracks, no one knows that it's plywood -- really! Here's a link:

They have it in 3 1/2 inch and 1.6 inch patterns.(10 boards = 16 inches, get it?) I've used the 1.6 inch stuff. I had to special order it and it arrived in a week.

If this won't work for you, you'll have to go to the mill....
