WET CRAWL SPACE FLOOR

MY HOME SETS ON A CRAWL SPACE AT LEAST 3FT.TO 3.5FT DEEP ALL PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL IS EXCESSABLE WHICH IS NICE.THE CRAWL HAS A DIRT FLOOR THE PREVIOUS HOME OWNER HAD LARGE SHEETS OF PLASTIC COVERING THE DIRT LAST WEEK I PULLED SOME OF THE PLASTIC BACK THE SOIL SEAMED VERY MOIST ALSO THERE WERE QUITE A LARGE NUMBER OF DIFFERENT BUGS UNDERNEATH THE PLASTIC . MY QUESTION IS SHOULD THE PLASTIC BE REMOVED SO THE SOIL CAN DRY OR SHOULD I ADD FRESH PLASTIC ON TOP
