We have a 100-year old house with basement fully remodeled. Whenever it rains (even just a little bit) the floor in one corner gets wet (no standing water). This is the corner where all the pipes come in from outside. We have good drainage away from the house and have piled some dirt against the house. Should I just chalk this up to "old basement" or take some preventative (but cheap) mmeasures. We expect to be in the house for a looooong time. Thanks!
