Hi Deb,

It's hard to do. Experience and luck at what you're asking 'us' to do is how it's done.

Since even an Expert can't see what your situation is, consider having the 'Dirt Supplier' stop by your house and give an estimate. If you choose to err on the 'excessive' side, see if there's a neighbor that wants the excess dirt. I suspect that if you want a neighbor to take the dirt, they'll have to 'move' it to their lot (which means I'd forget about charging them a fee.)

PS: Maybe your neighbor next door wants the dirt to put them 'higher' than you ...
