Hi Rhonda,

Bob isn't here but I may be able to help you.

If you just bought your lamp, the instructions should be inside the box. If they aren't in there, go back to where you bought it and get them. If you 'inherited' this fan, look for the mfgr's. name and model and contact them. They may have a WEB site. If it's not a new fan and you can't find any make/model info, write down the wiring (and colors) and such on a piece of paper and go to a store to see if anyone there will give you 'general instructions'. Hopefully, there aren't remotes and TONS of wires coming out of it because from my limited experience, they're no fun to wire up! At worst, contact a professional or even a friend who is in the trades. (A lot of those 'guys and gals' have probably wired a fan at least once in their life.)

Remember, if you're not familiar with working with electricity, it's probably best left to be installed by a pro. My best to ya and hope this helps.
