If you installed the fixture and switch yourself, then I will ASSuME you are familiar enough with wiring that you can do the following: Pull the dimmer switch out from the box and short the incomming hot wire to the outgoing wire to the light. (use a short piece of insulated wire) If it still flickers, the problem is with the wiring, not the dimmer switch. When dimmer switches are fully on, they are supposed to be completely on, with the dimmer part of the switch fully bypassed.
If flickering continues, try a new bulb, (I have seen bulb filaments go into oscillation and make the bulb appear to flicker) and then start checking for poor neutral wire connections.
