for whatever this is worth.....i have installed vinyl siding for 20 years now, if you hang it on the wall up to a flat surface, such as 3/8" or 1/2" fan folded backers, or 1/2" osb / plywood, and allow for expansion and will be flat on the wall , not wavy...again...the two keys for a great looking vinyl siding installation, allow room to expand and contract, and install it over a one of the many flat boards or backers available....put in over something that is wavy such as this thermo-ply, which by the way is the builders sheathing...not a good product to hold nails and adds waves to a wall just by the way it itself is installed. This builder is not that informed....if you follow the basic installation steps, your house should look great....good luck Thieu.....bob
