We recently had a rain, and one of my gutter extensions was frozen. The water filled the extension and pooled in one corner of the house. I fixed the frozen extension and checked to see if any water got into the basement. In the corner that had standing water outside, there was a very small amount of water. The rest of the basement appeared dry. I checked it again in the morning, and found no more water in the corner, but twenty feet down the back wall that meets this corner water was pooling pretty well. Do you think this water came from the corner? Or do I have another problem?
