I have lived in my home for 11 years w/ no sign of water leaking into my basement. We got about 4" of rain in the last month (not all that unusual for us) and all of a sudden I seemed to have water seeping into my basement in several areas where the wall meets the floor. I say seeping, but the shop vac couldn't even keep up with it. It really created a mess since my entire basement is finished. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Did it happen repeatedly? What did you find fixed the problem? Thank for any insights.
