Some AO Smith water heaters (older) have a problem
with this white crud that cakes on the heating
coils, flakes off, then clogs the hot water lines.
I have had this problem, and so has a friend that
also has an AO Smith. You might also check to see
if there is any of this white crud that is getting
trapped anywhere--such as the screen where the hot
water line connects to the washer, inside the
shower heads, or in the faucet screens. Good Luck,
