water flowing through forced-air registers

Posted by Michelle on April 11th, 2003 07:13 AM

Throughout this past fall and winter, I've had LOTS of condensation in my mobile home. I've lived here for 20 years, and this is the first time this has ever happened. The ceilings show mildew; there's dripping moisture on my windows (and window sills) -- and just a few days ago, I heard the sound of water trickling while my (Miller) oil furnace was running -- and water has built up and is flowing through the registers of my home!! I've sucked the water out with a wet/dry vac, though I know it's just a temporary solution -- its slowly starting up again. Has anyone ever experienced something like this?!!? I never even knew that this was possible!! I know I must call a professional, but I'd like to get some feedback from anyone out here first. Thanks....
