Water based poly is fairly new and very acceptable for flooring. it does not smell, dries in about 20 minutes, ready for second coat in 2 hours, and does not collect dust.

I always use this now when I am refinishing floors. The customers can have their home and floor back at the end of each day, only if you do a room at a time.

Check it out.

Any poly must never be shooken up. It is always gently stirred. If you shake up poly, you get air bubbles in the finish and we know wwhat they look like.
