Hi all,

Our homes washer drainage consists of a washer in the back patio, with a pipe going through a wall and draining into a bath tub. NO FOOLING! I had the house copper repiped about two years ago, and I had the plummers run hot/cold lines through the attic up to the garage.
Now, I'm planning out my washer relocation to the garage. Hot/cold water should be no problem. But the drainage I'm not too sure. I had a guy come out with some radart thing to location my drainage. I'm planning on tapping into the main drainage system at about 3.5-4 feet below ground. I'm not sure what material it is though PVC, metal, clay? The house was built in 1952.
So can someone share some knowledge regarding recommended piping angle decline or drainage tap angle (90, 45?). Lastly, this is in an unincorporated area, so I dont plan on getting the city involved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
