We recently (on the advise of an interior decorator) wallpapered over a paneled wall. We caulked any seams, used a wall liner and used a textured wallpaper which we then painted. After over 40 hours of work, we are now left with an unsightly wall. Every line in the paneling shows!!! It's as if the light refletcs off of the wall and shows peaks and valleys. The wall is presently painted a soft grey. Any Help? We are desperate. What are our options aside from ripping everything down and applying dry wall to the entire surface? Any remedies with some uniquely applied painting technique to minimize the damage? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
