Hello: Yes I got up Sat. morning and said to myself, "What a lovely day, what can I do to ruin it?" So I attempted to strip the paint and wallpaper off my daughter's bedroom. It started out okay, as my husband rented a steamer, but after 8 hours I was only able to get almost one wall done! There were two layers of wallpaper, and the house is 60 years old. I did find, however, that when we got it very wet, the wallpaper did come off better. I am going to try removing the with with fabric softner water tonight. Thanks for the tip.
