Wallpaper Removal

Posted by Kim on January 28th, 2002 11:24 AM

My house is 45 years and I've lived in it for eight years. I wanted to remove the wallpaper in the kitchen and just paint. I started pulling a little of the wallpaper off and discovered that there were two layers and they were glued directly on top of drywall! What do I do now??? I'm afraid if I use any kind of liquid that it will ruin the drywall. Please help.
