See message to you above. When I was on before, your message did not come up, so I assumed you wanted info on wallpaper removal. I can't believe someone was able to paint the wallpaper without it coming off the walls. My guess would be that if you use the Paper Tiger (which is the tool referred to), and then follow the rest of the instructions, the paper will come off pretty easily. Sanding would probably give you a pretty messy and uneven finish, which would have to be extensively patched. Good luck.
