In reply to Paper removal by Cat L. on July 5th, 1999 08:43 PM [Go to top of thread]

We purchased a home and I began removing paper in the eat-in. They apparently attached it with paste to the drywall. I have a mess on my hands. Will try the fabric softener - have tried vinegar, remover diff etc. Now - what do you recommend to paint on surface before I paint. I have drywall damage and am thinking I would like to roll on the next layer and then paint over it with a textured roller for a faux finish effect and essentially save time too. What do you think?
Thanks for any info.
