Hi, Nancy. Had the same problem and believe it or not, the paper came off without a hitch. A paper tiger and DIF were the keys. Use a sponge to put the DIF on as it seems to let you control how much water/DIF you put on pretty well. Just get the surface wet. Doing it on a hot day may have helped some too.
