The big problem is that the carpet is not in my home but in a classroom.
The buildings & grounds supervisor was informed of the intent to change carpet months ago and did not fill out the proper paperwork. I stopped the workers from pulling up the exixting carpet and trying to drill to secure new tack strip. Now he is trying to say I did not inform him. And proper proceddures were not followed.
I am more concerned at this point with getting this reolved before the tiles do start to break up.
I know I saw a metal tack strip that was "L" shaped and mounted onto the wall with screws on one of the home restoration shows. I just can't remember which one.
