Thanks for response. I went to work on inside of wall with Drylock quick plug product (a fast-setting cement). Filled in crack with this and started digging out lower spot where water was actually entering. Found it filled with old caulk (underneath Drylock paint). Filled in area about 3" diameter and 1/2" - 1" deep with the fast plug. So far so good. Was hoping not to have to dig on outside of wall. Not sure I'll get down far enough easily. House has eavestroughs (rain gutters?) and slope is not great but OK. Sump pump runs alot during and for several days after rain events. Many neighbors have same issue.
