In reply to Wagner Power Roller? by Karen Bonazzo on July 25th, 1998 12:57 AM [Go to top of thread]

I just bought a house and bought the 959 to paint the interior. In all honesty I was not that impressed. I actually like the $25.00 paint tubes better for walls and non textured cealings because of the added reach. Its possible I am not using the right roller but it is doing a terrible job on the textured cealings. I am getting streaks and uneven coats. My first 959 ran for about 5 hours before it died and the secind one is doing fine. If you have textured cealings, If I had it to do over again, I would buy the Wagner sprayer to do the cealings and the paint tube to do the walls. The overall look would be better and it would cost about $25.00 less. With good Sears paint at $18.00 a gallon, its importants to get even coats the first or second time around. Good Luck
