Hi, I found this article on the POPULAR MECHANICS web-site. Hope this helps.

Log cabins and vinyl siding have always seemed to us to be two things that donít have much in common. Then we saw this product: a contractor-installed vinyl siding in the profile of a cedar log. Itís called Timbermill Log Cabin Board. Itís backed with a rigid polystyrene insulation for strength and to reduce heat loss in the winter and heat gain in the summeróan energy-conserving characteristic of real logs, come to think of it.
Itís available in the cedar color shown, and its installed cost is from $400 to $600 per square (100 sq. ft.). To locate a contractor or for more information, contact Resource Materials Corp., 1411 Majestic Dr., Freemont, OH 43420; 800-846-9599.
