This is a 18 stories high concrete building built in the 70's. There is a 3" duct inside the wall, next to a plumbing wall. I'm just not sure where the moisture exists the building since it's right in the middle of the the unit. Want to take care of all the mold problem before putting in new finish. I'm in the planning stage of remodeling, so I guess the only option is to remove the tile backer board to see...
I'll have to see if nutone has an upgrade motor... would you recommend furring the ceiling then install a ceiling fan and connecting to the existing duct? the ceiling is only 8', so would 6" be enough to bend a duct and connect to the existing? Existing ceiling is concrete floor slab for above unit.
