Vapor Barrier

Ryan, as Fred has said, in a cold climate you need the vapor barrier on the inside. I did blown in cellulose a number of years ago, and have had good luck with name brand vapor barrier paint on the inside walls. It will act as a primer, and it can be tinted. The cellulose has been in the walls for over 17 years, and I recently had the occasion to cut into several of them, and found the cellulose to be dry and in good condition.
