I want to get my family room painted. I hate the fake oak paneling that is in there now. I was contemplating an off-white or cream color. Does it pay to have it faux painted or does it matter at all since the fake oak itself has holes in it already. I cannot afford to have paneling taken off completely. I appreciate any help. Thanks. Please e-mail me. Kathy
