Use the corregated kind.

Get the special rubber washer nails for nailing and get the special squigley board that is congruent with the corregation to act as a nailing board.

Make sure you have a good "fall" or drop on the roof to properly shed water.

Overlap each corregated sheet one or two waves and nail only in the peaks not the valleys.

Allow plenty of overhang to drop the rain water off and away from the building.

For added protection, use butyl rubber sealant where you are overlapping the corregation over each other. This will create a good seal for you.

Hope that this helps. This is a skill level of 4 on a 10 scale, 10 being hardest and more skilled.

The material is cheap also.
