Usage Meter

Sorry but I've never see such a usage meter available.

I can't see any of your appliances accounting for such an increase but problems in them that might cause it could include the following: The refrigerator's condenser or evaporator fan motor failed causing the fridge to run longer than normal or an electric dryer element shorted to ground keeping the heater going at all times. Do you use a dehumidifier?

BTW. Just because an appliance is "new" don't assume is no problem in it. Appliances fail within the first year of use all the time.
