Hi Ernest, the simpliest method of removing the corner of the quater-round would be to take a belt sander, secure it upside down and run the quarter-round across it at an angle several times till you get the desired profile. Now another method (a little more laber intensive, but not by much), would be to make several passes with a wood plane shaving off the desired amount.

Then again you could take a utility knife and trim it, but for 100', it probably would get tiring real fast.
