In reply to Moss in my Uni-stone by Clint Warwick on June 12th, 2001 09:42 PM [Go to top of thread]

A good friend of mine sells grass and related materials and services to golf courses and municipalities throughout New England. He showed me how to get rid of the Moss on the north side lawn of my house. What the pros use is regular old Dawn dishwashing liquid. The original blue stuff. Put one shot glass in a one gallon sprayer with water and wet down the area. Don't use more than the one shot glass b/c it won't help. Do it when it won't rain for a couple days and don't water the area for a couple days. The moss will croak and you may have to re-apply after two weeks and then just once in a while after that. Good luck! It worked for me!
